My recent stay at Thon Hotel in Bodo, Norway, truly surpassed all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff's attention to detail was exceptional; they not only offered me a late checkout without me even requesting it but also provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The room itself was a haven of comfort, with a big cozy bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud and luxurious bathroom amenities that made me feel pampered. I particularly appreciated the bright lighting in the bathroom, which made getting ready a breeze.One aspect that stood out to me was the excellent tea and coffee facilities in the room. As a marine biologist constantly on the go, having access to a good cup of coffee in the morning was essential for me, and Thon Hotel delivered beyond my expectations. The electric kettle made it convenient for me to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea while admiring the view of the harbor from my room. The hotel's proximity to local dining options like Gatsby Burger & Bar and Bryggerikaia allowed me to indulge in delicious meals just steps away from my accommodation. The combination of attentive staff, top-notch amenities, and convenient location made my stay truly memorable. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a true Nordic hospitality experience in Bodo.
